Saturday Free For All #5

Okay, I'm a day late with the Saturday Free For All, but better late than never. Today our prompt is the above picture which is by tamdavash416, and I found it at photobucket.
I really like all of tamdavash416's work and I'll probably use more of it in later prompts.
Anyway, craft your story, poem or essay around this image, then comment with your link so we can all check it out!
Have a great day!

Monday's Theme #5
Gratitude
In our society of consumerism we often forget to be thankful for the blessings that we have as it seems we never have enough. Stop and think about what you are thankful for. What have you been blessed with in this life? Write a poem, story, or essay about Gratitude and leave your link in a comment.
Have a great week!

Saturday Free For All #4
PHENOMENAL WOMAN
                                    by Maya Angelou
Pretty women wonder where my secret lies
I'm not cute or built to suit a model's fashion size
But when I start to tell them
                                    They think I'm telling lies.
                                    I say
It's in the reach of my arms
                                    The span of my hips
                                    The stride of my steps
                                    The curl of my lips.
                                    I'm a woman
                                    Phenomenally
                                    Phenomenal woman
                                    That's me.
                                        I walk into a room
Just as cool as you please
                                    And to a man
                                    The fellows stand or
                                    Fall down on their knees
                                    Then they swarm around me
                                    A hive of honey bees.
                                    I say
It's the fire in my eyes
And the flash of my teeth
                                    The swing of my waist
And the joy in my feet.
                                    I'm a woman
                                    Phenomenally
                                    Phenomenal woman
                                    That's me.
                                        Men themselves have wondered
                                    What they see in me
                                    They try so much
                                    But they can't touch
                                    My inner mystery.
When I try to show them
They say they still can't see.
                                    I say
It's in the arch of my back
                                    The sun of my smile
                                    The ride of my breasts
                                    The grace of my style.
                                    I'm a woman
                                    Phenomenally
                                    Phenomenal woman
                                    That's me.
                                        Now you understand
Just why my head's not bowed
I don't shout or jump about
Or have to talk real loud
                                    When you see me passing
It ought to make you proud.
                                    I say
It's in the click of my heels
                                    The bend of my hair
                                    The palm of my hand
                                    The need for my care.
                                    'Cause I'm a woman
                                    Phenomenally
                                    Phenomenal woman
                                    That's me.
Okay, I'm going to pick six words, and you choose any three to write your piece around, or if you like use all six.
Pretty, fashion, woman, mystery, smile, and proud.

Saturday Free For All #3

This is my photo prompt for today. I'm not sure why I picked this one, it just kind of grabbed my attention. I have no idea where I found it, it was just on my computer, so if this is your image, please let me know so I can give you proper credit.
Happy writing!

A Random Prompt
What cheers you up? When you're feeling down, what do you do to pull yourself out of the rut? Write about it, in poetry, a short story, essay, whatever you please. Then please leave your link in a comment. Thanks!
I know there's a lot of prompts every week, so I was hesitant to post this one, but decided to anyway.
