A Very Late Sublime Saturday #3

My kids had Homecoming this weekend so I totally missed posting a prompt on Saturday. So, I'm posting it today.

My prompt this week is:

Soul Stirring

What stirs your soul? What speaks to you on your deepest level? What motivates you? What brings you joy and peace?

Write your Soul Stirring piece and come back here to leave a link to your post in the comments section.

Happy Writing!

The prompt for this week's Sublime Saturday is this:

Write a poem, short story, or blog post using these words:

lost
kaleidoscope
penchant
able
voracious

Then leave me a comment with your link and I'll check it out today or tomorrow.

Sublime Saturdays #1

Okay, so today starts my weekly prompt once again. I've decided to name it Sublime Saturdays, at least for the moment, though that may change. Dictionary.com defines Sublime as:

~adjective;

1. elevated or lofty in thought, language, etc.: Paradise Lost is sublime poetry.

2.
impressing the mind with a sense of grandeur or power; inspiring awe, veneration, etc.: Switzerland has sublime scenery.

There are other definitions, but I felt these suited my purposes well enough. To me there is nothing more Sublime than writing. So, on with the prompt.

Write a piece that uses the 5 senses and these 3 words:

element
fate
ponderous

Decisions Decisions

After much deliberation I have decided to continue with this site, but only have one prompt a week. I will post it Friday evening or Saturday morning and you can write your post and leave your comments for as long as you like. That way if my current prompt doesn't inspire you, you can browse through the archives for one that does. I will be starting with new prompts next week.

Hope to hear from you then!

Happy writing,

Jane
