Check out Jane's Inspirations on Friday evening or Saturday morning for my weekly prompt. And, some days if I'm bored I may throw in an extra prompt just for fun.
Take the prompt, write your poem, short story, essay, or whatever you like, then leave a comment with a link to your post so we can all read it. Please be sure to leave the permalink to your post and not the link to your blog. Thank you!

Why I Write
I write for the same reason I breathe-because if I didn't I would die.
I am an enigma wrapped up in a paradox. I have a tendency towards insanity and a unique way of viewing this drama we call life. I have no problem sharing the thoughts that lurk within my twisted psyche—except for those things they could use against me in the trial—as I find the madness that has consumed my mind to be quite entertaining. I inhabit my own little world where the sky is purple and I reign supreme. I write for no one other than myself, I feel no need to impress or convince, I merely seek to let the demons loose and scare the hell out of those who stumble into my reality.
